“Since my makeover with Elle, I have been empowered to shop in an intelligent way. I have a set of rules and colours for my body type, and I have an idea of my own unique style.
This means that I can shop knowing I will buy clothes thoughtfully and intelligently and I will not waste my money. I have never enjoyed shopping for clothes, I guess because I felt I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. And even though it will never be a hobby of mine, I will practice shopping more frequently as I know that is the only way I will build up my wardrobe with suitable clothes.

"Organising a wedding from my point of view, was a crazy task.
You go into it thinking you are super organised. You know what you want and imagine how fun it will be putting it all together.
The reality, however, is different. You realise that there are just so many bits and pieces that you've neglected to think of around every corner.
Going in, I had a good idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure how to go about finding it and making it all work together.

Since meeting Elle and making some fairly major transformations (both to my physical appearance and my mental attitude) what happened today at the supermarket has become an almost daily occurrence, which feels great and makes all Elle's hard work (and mine, too!) worth it, but this is not the best thing about the Elle Lavon experience.
No, the best thing for me (as a busy, plus-sized, stay-at-home Mum to three little kids) about my total makeover is being able to quickly and effectively shop for clothes and accessories in a completely focused way without becoming overwhelmed by choices and settling for things because they “might” work.
