Ready to glow up?
Welcome to the One-On-One Wardrobe Detox & Renew!
It's time to shake off the old and bring forth the new you.
Away We Go!
Step by step we build an authentic personal style that reflects your identity and values, ensuring it's aligned with your lifestyle, mission and the message you wish to deliver to the world.
Taking both creative and functional elements into consideration I will help you create a look that sets you apart, so you can be seen for who you are.
Optional (and highly recommended) - We finish this off with a photoshoot with my awesome photographer, to capture The New You!
Step 1 - Style Archetype Session
The first step is the Style Archetype session. This session is online. We'll spend anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour taking a deep dive into the theory behind how we build your style.
Together, we’ll uncover the science and method behind STYLE and how to build a wardrobe that makes you feel like you! I’ll take you through my entire method, so basically once we’re done you can go off and be a stylist. But if you decide you’d rather have me as your own personal style secret weapon, we can continue the journey together.
Most importantly, you’ll receive your unique style archetype which is the visual translation of your identity and is the cornerstone of everything we do moving forward. This will enable you to walk into any store and instantly know what is right for you and what isn't.
Step 2 - Wardrobe Detox
What happens during a Wardrobe Detox?
We're going to get up close and personal with your wardrobe, looking at what no longer serves you (and why) and what still works. You'll learn to put great outfits together from what you already own while identifying gaps needing to be filled.
What to expect from your wardrobe assessment?
Typically, a wardrobe assessment takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on factors unique to your wardrobe.
My promise to you is to always be respectful, thoughtful and conscientious throughout everything we do. You will not be made fun of or judged. This is an incredibly liberating process! Be prepared to let go of the clutter that holds you back, and create a functional space with items that you really enjoy and wear, day in, day out.
What to prepare for your wardrobe detox?
1. Have all your laundry done, dried and accessible.
2. All dry cleaning is back.
3. Any clothes, shoes and accessories that may be at your workplace are back home and ready for review.
4. To make the most of our time, throw away anything that you already know has passed its due date.
5. Wear comfortable underwear as you may have to try on a few things during the process.
6. I respect your privacy. If there's anything that you are not comfortable going through please let me know.
Mind the Gap(s):
How to work with what you have left between your wardrobe audit and your shopping trip? There will be gaps. Sometimes HUGE gaps... Sometimes just a few missing pieces.
We book the shopping trip no more than two weeks from the wardrobe audit. And you will be left with practical solutions on how to use what you have in your wardrobe in the interim, so you won't get stuck without something to wear.
If you feel lost, guess what? I am only a phone call or text message away.
From now on ALL your wardrobe woes are over and you have someone to take care of it all for you, so make use of having a stylist at your fingertips.
What happens to the clothes we don't keep?
It makes sense to ask this question.
I’m aligned with a charity called "Suited to Success". So, any clothing appropriate for work will be donated to this amazing organisation to help disadvantaged people overcome employment barriers and give them the opportunity to feel confident and independent in their journey. Any clothing that is more casual (or simply not "business" enough) will go to charities such as The Salvation Army and St Vincent De Paul. If you have any suggestions or preferences for where you'd like to donate your clothes, please let me know. Certain items are not appropriate for any charity, and they will go to the bin/fabric recycling. You can read more about this in my article about Wardrobe Organising
Step 3 - Shopping
About Your Shopping Trip
You are about to experience a whole new way of shopping! We go in with an action plan. We know what we need and what we already have. We will be looking for pieces that will mix and match to create a variety of looks and make you feel amazing.
What happens on a shopping trip?
Grooming (optional but recommended)
We start the day with grooming. Style isn't just about clothing. It's about everything from top to toe. So let's start at the top. I will collaborate with your barber/hairstylist to create the best look for your new or refreshed style.
I'm also happy to arrange my preferred stylist if you're happy for me to.
To make the most of our time together, I will be going on a scouting day prior to our shopping trip, to select styles, ensuring the stock is available in the sizes we need and set aside, the store staff are briefed and ready for us. While we work together to create a wardrobe that feels comfortable and puts you at ease, prepare to be pushed out of your comfort zone. You are in good hands. Trust the process and know that the best results are achieved when you come with an open mind. Typically, the shopping trip itself takes 4 to 5 hours.
In the week to come, tailoring will get done and any orders should arrive which we take care of coordinating. As soon as these are ready, we will drop them off at your home.
Once that's done, we'll put everything we bought together with your existing wardrobe. This will give you a chance to start experiencing your new style and getting hands-on creating outfits and looks.
What to Bring
Step 4 - *Optional add-on: Photoshoot to celebrate The New You
We finish this off with the Impact Personal Brand Photoshoot
We’re going to create professional images that truly capture your essence for use in digital and print media.
Together with award-winning photographer, Jack Venables, I will customise the shoot for you.
This will give you a bank of images perfect to use across all platforms.
Most importantly, every photo will look and feel like YOU.
Step 5 - Style Review
One month after the shoot, we meet for the final stage of the program.
By now you will have had a chance to wear many of your new styles and experience how they feel, fit and look, and most importantly, how you feel when you wear them. (Plus you'll have experience in handling bulk amounts of compliments.) At this point, I will be coming back to check in with you and hear how your new style is settling in, see if you have any questions.
I want to hear about what you love, what's working, is there anything that could work better, and whether we need to exchange or re-fit anything.
Basically, I make sure that you are next-level-happy and already kicking goals and taking over the world one stylin' outfit at a time!
Don't worry, this won't be goodbye forever, but just the start of a lifetime of style - VIP events, wardrobe refreshes and you having a stylist at your fingertips.
